Read on we have some useful ideas to help you create a great awards program and can possibly save some trophy-buying-headaches in years to come. If ordering trophies or medallions with individual names engraved on them, be sure to double check spelling with the player or parent. A little extra effort beforehand, means less chance for heartaches upon presentation! Designate a parent or "team-mom" as your team''s "awards specialist" at the beginning of the season. Having one person in charge of collecting and placing the trophy order will make the process smoother for everyone involved! If you need to collect money to help offset the cost of trophies, do so before you place your order, or at the very least before your ceremony. Being in charge of ordering trophies shouldn''t mean getting stuck with the bill! Plan ahead. Start talking about trophies or awards at the beginning of the season, and plan on ordering approximately three weeks prior to "party-time". Spring sporting season is becoming an increasingly busy time for most trophy shops. Make sure you get your order placed before the rush! To the right of the figure, the first price is of that figure on a base, the second is figure with base and a 7 inch D-Back backdrop, the third price is with a base, figure and a 9 inch D-Back backdrop. See the bottom of page for examples. The sport figure you choose will be used on your trophy instead of the figure shown in the example. The height of the figure doesn''t include the base, our standard base will add about an 1 1/4 inch to the total hieght, this also applies to the 7 and 9 inch D-Backs. All exchanges must take place within 30 days of receipt of trophies.
